With so much recent focus on hyper-realistic racing sims like Gran Turismo 5 and Forza Motorsport 3, it’s easy to forget about some of the more arcade-style racers on the horizon.  One of these games is Need for Speed: Nitro for the Wii.  With its blazing speeds, kart racer-like power-ups and graffiti art style, it looks to be one of the more unique racers comng this year.  EA has released a new trailer showcasing one of the cities in which the game will take place – Rio de Janeiro.  Take a look.

While it’s not likely to be confused for a PS3 or 360 game anytime soon, Need For Speed: Nitro is a pretty nice-looking game with a good sense of speed and a lot of stylized flair that should keep drivers interested.  We’ll find out if this is the case when the game releases on November 3.
