Everyone knows that Mass Effect 2's character models will be gorgeous.  The characters in the first game looked fantastic (once their textures finally show up), so the sequel is bound to deliver some great-looking Humans, Krogans, Turians, Salarians, and Asari.  A few new screens from the highly-anticipated action RPG have been released at PAX, showcasing some stunning character models.  Take a look.

Mass Effect 2 looks fantastic, but I worry about the incredible textures I'm seing here.  The Xbox 360was barely able to handle the textures in the first game, and these look far more detailed.  Hopefully, BioWare has figured out a more efficient way to produce these impressive visuals, because if they haven't, we might be playing half the game with low-res textures.
