New Releases Week of 02.08.09
Freaky Deaky
With Sarah busy kicking ass at the New York Comic Con, I’ll be filling in to learn you about this week’s releases. And it’s a weird one. After the ghost town that ws last week’s list, this week brings us a whole bunch of weirdness. There’s the hotly anticipated GTA IV expansion, The Lost and the Damned, which, despite being a dowloadable content pack, will be available in stores. Two excellent games that couldn’t be more different finally get sequels in LocoRoco 2 and F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. Then there's House of the Dead: OVERKILL, which, as a light gun game, I couldn't care less about. I know many of you do, but to me the genre has felt outdated for about a decade now. Other than that, we’ve got two classic compilations, three games starring absurdly scantily clad bad-ass heroines, a kart racer based on regular racers, a game where you play as a spider and a scorpion, and something called My Do It All. Weird stuff. I should do this more often; we might end up with a 16-bit kart racer starring scantily clad scorpions who "do it all." Its awesomeness would shatter mountains.
UPDATE - The Lost and the Damned is set for a February 17 release, and will not be out this week. My apologies.

Y'know what? I'm actually not all that excited about this coming week. Not in gaming and not in life. School work is the only constant I have lately. It sucks.
The Oneechanbara movie was so bad but not in the way that Guitar Wolf's "Wild Zero" was so bad it was free t-shirts and pizza day awesome double plus good.
I getting F.E.A.R 2 this week and yea, I feel ya QMarc80 because school is a major pain on my side too.

Be sure to at least check out Phantasy star IV ( pretty sure it is on there) if you haven't already. It's one of my all time favorites you won't be disappointed.
