New Sims 3 Trailer Is Odd
Don't Blame It, It's European.
I don’t know what the hell it is, but I kind of like it.
The newest European trailer for EA’s The Sims 3 is messed up. It starts with a punk/goth girl on a treadmill, progresses to lots of odd running, a creepy make-out session between a French maid and an octogenarian, and finally a candy theft habit that has apparently gotten out of hand. It’s equal parts weird and intriguing, and you should watch it.
If this trailer is any indication, The Sims 3 looks like it will represent a modest visual upgrade over its predecessor, and the gameplay looks a lot more robust than before as well. The game launches in February, so it’ll be a few months before anyone gets their hands on it, but really, do people really care that much about The Sims? I mean really, how many copies have the first two games sold? Maybe…. Oh. That many. Never mind then. You better pre-order.

I understand it as a sims player. But I completly understand why people would think it was a random video.
Looks more like Sims 2.5. Whatever, doesn't matter. Will sell incredibly well. Hell, I'll probably get it sometime in the future. I usually have a good week of Sims dabbling before I get frustrated and quit.
Will breaking & entering be a large part of the gameplay mechanic?
