New Star Wars: Old Republic Images Look Great
In a Nauseating Kind of Way
Aren’t new screen shots supposed to show off how good a game looks? Usually, when a dev puts out images from an upcoming title, they’re bright, crisp, clean, and full of blue skies, lens flares and Photoshoppy goodness. So what’s up with these images from Star Wars: The Old Republic?

It’s not that they don’t look good, it’s just that they don’t look pretty. For an MMO, the character models look to be of high quality, there are some nice, high-res textures on everything, and the design looks to be right in-line with the greater Star Wars universe. So why do they all look like they’ve been vomited on by a Boomer from Left 4 Dead? It’s because these are images from the Hutt homeworld. Yes, Jabba’s race is a slovenly, hedonistic one that has not only corrupted the galaxy in general with their shady dealings and illegal spice trading, but have destroyed their own planet’s environment, leaving their air a sickly green/yellow. So don’t think of these images as ugly; think of them as authentic.

The Hutt homeland looks like Los Angeles, with a little less smog.
lol @ Sean. I'd like to go party at their club. Question is will there be attractive people there?
@FRicanKrazy Yes there will, but unfortunately, they will all be chained to giant slimy Hutts.
Is this the third KoTOR that i've been waiting my whole life for!?
