A new trailer for the next Mass Effect 2 DLC pack, Lair of the Shadow Broker, has arrived.  Not only does it give us more exposure to Liara T’Soni, the Asari researcher with whom so many players found true interstellar love in the first game, it also gives a good look at the DLC’s new vehicle, the hovercraft.

The trailer also shows that while the DLC pack will focus on Shepard and Liara, it will also feature other party members, like Thane and Mordin.  Most of what’s shown is cinematic, but there are a few brief scenes of actual gameplay, including what we believe to be a hovercraft-piloting scene through the skies of the Citadel. 

Unlike its predecessor, Mass Effect 2 has been supplemented by some excellent DLC.  Kasumi: Stolen Memory was a short campaign, but a lot of fun, and a great deal for the price, and Overlord was a spectacular piece of content, and offered some of the best moments in the game.  Hopefully, Shadow Broker will live up to this tradition of quality.  From the looks of the trailer, it shouldn’t be a problem.
