New Uncharted 3 Trailers Emerge
Fire, Punching, Bullets, Falling, Old People, and France

Sony and Naughty Dog have released two new gameplay videos for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The videos feature several of Drake’s new moves, plenty of gunplay, and the best looking fire I’ve ever seen in a video game. Seriously: wow.
While these are comprised of all new footage, they take place in the same location as the demo from the recent Sony press event and Jimmy Fallon’s on-air test run of the game; a French chateau that turns into a flaming deathtrap once the baddies show up. In addition to the simply gorgeous fire effects, we also get to see Drake using some new attacks, like a stealth takedown from above, instant weapon stealing, kicking one enemy while being held by another, and a left uppercut that would make Earnie Shavers proud.
The first two Uncharted games are pretty much universally accepted as some of the best titles of this console generation, and the third iteration looks to be no different. Naughty Dog clearly hasn’t rested on their laurels here, as the game looks to continue the series’ tradition of extremely high quality gameplay and presentation, along with an unmatched level of polish. Uncharted 3 literally can’t arrive soon enough for me, and while there’s always a chance that it won’t live up to its hype or its predecessors, I have a feeling we’ll be looking at a strong contender for game of the year.

First thought: I still can't believe that Nathan Fillion won't be in the movie.
Second: Do I really have to wait until November?
