Not only was Killzone 2 an outstanding shooter straight out of the box, Sony has done a good job of supporting the game via DLC.  First came the “Steel and Titanium” pack, then, last month, we got the “Flash and Lightning” set.  Today, despite Sony’s statement that there was no planned third DLC pack, a third DLC pack was announce; “Napalm and Cordite.”

The DLC pack will include two multiplayer maps taken from areas of the single-player campaign; Suljeva Cliffside and Arctower Landing.  In addition, you’ll be able to use two previously campaign-only weapons on the two maps.  On Suljeva Cliffside, the VC1 Flamethrower will become available, and the Boltgun 4400 will be unlocked for Arctower Landing.  You’ll be able to use these new weapons to collect the eight new trophies that come with the DLC pack.
