Raving Rabbids TV Show Coming
From the Makers of Wallace & Gromit

As a longtime fan of Rayman, I'm not a fan of the Raving Rabbids. These goofy little...things, whatever the hell they are, have stolen Rayman's franchise away from him, taking a brilliant platforming series and turning it into a waggle-fest of shovelware. For some reason, though, people seem to like the little morons, and the games are always successful. That's why, as much as it may make me sick, the idea of a Raving Rabbids TV show makes sense. I'm not happy about it, but I understand it.
Brendon Connelly of BleedingCool.com reported today that a job listing related to a TV show based on Ubisoft's annoying little cash cows. It seems that Aardman Animation is working on a Rabbids TV show, described as a "live action/CGI mix."
Aardman is best known for its work in stop-motion animation, most notably the hugely successful Wallace & Gromit, as well as Chicken Run, but they've also done CGI work, such as Flushed Away. It's a premiere animation studio, and one that generally does excellent work that appeals to both adults and children, so it should at least be a well-made show about the asinine little things. For a sample of their work, check out the Raving Rabbids Travel in Time website. The promo video shown there was produced by Aardman, so it should give you a good idea of what to expect.

Love me some Aardman, not so much Rabbids.
