Red Dead Redemption Gameplay Trailer Moseys On In
Cowboy Up
Every single new piece of info and media for Rockstar’s upcoming western epic, Red Dead Redemption makes me more and more excited for the game’s release. I’m not a huge cowboys and Indians guy, but for some reason, the idea of exploring the digital old west on virtual horseback is way more intriguing than watching Clint Eastwood or John Wayne do it on screen. The newest video for RDR showcases some of the gameplay we can expect once the game releases in April of next year, and once again, it has me clapping my wildly Dorito-stained mitts together in anticipation.
Sure, the gunplay looks awesome, especially the quick-draw mechanic, and the idea of lassoing enemies for delivery to the authorities is very cool, but what most struck me was when our hero, John Marston, checked out the “Wanted” poster, then actually took it off the wall and took it with him. It may not seem like much, but it shows an attention to detail that most games can’t come near. Let’s hope that the rest of Rockstar’s title lives up to this high level of polish.

Honor? Fuck it. Kill em all.
It looks like GTA: Dodge City. And in no way at all is that a bad thing.
