Rumor: New DS To Appear At E3?
According To Famitsu
The head honcho at Famitsu, Hirokazu Hamamura, has stated that Nintendo will be revealing a newly redesigned DS handheld at this year’s E3. Reggie Fils-Amie has stated that there will be some sort of major Nintendo announcement at the July 15-17 event so maybe this is the real deal, but for now it’s just a rumor.
There’s zero info on what this redesign might entail, but guesses are flying all over the Gamervision office. From analog sticks to dual touch points to attached meat smokers, everyone’s got their pick for what should be added or changed on the outrageously popular handheld system. Me, personally? I want a DS that fits in my giant freak hands, but the chances of Nintendo making the thing bigger are slim at best.
What do you think? Is this too soon after the rollout of the DS Lite, or are you ready for something new? Chime in, folks. And remember, we’ll be at E3 covering whatever new thing they come up with live and in person.

This is NOT it. I don't think, anyway.

My guess? If it is true, which I doubt a little, it will be more compact and lose the GBA slot.
