Capcom announced that each of the characters in Super Stret Fighter IV would be getting new costumes.  They announced it well over a month ago, though, and we haven’t heard a thing about it since.  The only thing we had to go on was a blurry image of a few characters in their new, but difficult-to-distinguish outfits.  Now, thanks to Yoshinori Ono’s Twitter account, we have our first look at six of them.

Costume art for Fei Long, Chun Li, Abel, Sakura, Juri, and Cammy appeared in Tweets by Ono earlier today.  Five of the costumes are new designs, but Chun Li is sporting her Street Fighter Alpha duds.  Fei Long's new look is a good one, and one that makes sense for a slightly egotistical action-movie star.  Juri's new clothes are actually less revealing than her normal costume, and look excellent.  Abel gets a somewhat generic tough-guy get-up, while Sakura dons a lovely, feminine sundress that stands as a nice contrast to her tomboyish schoolgirl outfit. 

And then there's that thing that Cammy is wearing.  It looks like an early rejected costume concept for Halle Berry in Catwoman, or perhaps a pair of armored pajamas for children.  It's awful.
