When thousands of people illegally downloaded an unfinished version of the upcoming X-Men Origins: Wolverine movie, Twentieth Century Fox was understandably pissed.  With so many people having seen a 90% finished version of the film over a month before its official release date, Fox and Marvel are still likely worried about its box office performance.  Plain and simple; movie studios don’t want you watching the movie early.

Of course, if it’s just a clip from the movie, then it’s all good.  As long as it’s on their terms.

Sony’s PlayStation Blog is reporting that an exclusive clip from the movie will be shown tonight, April 24, at 8:00 PM Pacific Time (11:00 regular people time) in the theatre in PlayStation Home.  With the movie set for a May 1 release, this is your best chance to get a legal sneak peek at what’s sure to be the year’s biggest superhero movie…sure, it’s the only superhero movie this year, but still….
