Someone is (Foolishly) Hunting Batman in Arkham City
The Predator Has Become the Prey...and Then Become the Predator Again
It’s been said that Man is the most dangerous game. Unlike animals, humans can rely on more than simple instincts and genetic memory. We can think, plot, scheme, and even fashion tools and traps to elude or thwart any would-be predators. That’s the average person. How much more dangerous, then, would a hunt be if the prey were a superbly-honed martial arts master with an IQ of 220 and a full-body Kevlar body suit? Someone in Gotham City is about to find out.
From the looks of this new trailer for Batman: Arkham City, Batman seems to be the target of a group of masked ne’er-do-wells. As the end of the video illustrates, this is a bad, bad idea.
So just who is hunting the Dark Knight? His would-be assailants are non-descript terrorist/henchmen types who don’t display any of the trademarks of any of the members of Batman’s “Rogue’s Gallery,” so it’s kind of hard to tell. My guess, though, is that they are minions of Talia, the daughter of Ra’s Al Ghul, and head of the Assassin’s Guild.
