Capcom released several images from the upcoming 2.5D fighter, Street Fighter 4, today, and it’s looking more and more like a class of 1991 reunion.  All the old school characters are back; In addition to Ryu and Ken, Blanka, Guile, E. Honda, Chun-Li, Dhalsim, and Zangief are all present and accounted for, and they all look fantastic.  No word yet on boss characters like Vega, Bison or Balrog, nor characters that appeared later in the series, like Birdie, Cammie or Sakura.  The David Bowie-esque female is known as Crimson Viper, and despite looking a lot like a Guilty Gear character, she will be one of the new playable characters in SF4.  We’ve still only seen one background in all the pics we’ve seen, so a little more level-related info would be nice, but so far, the Street Fighter franchise’s next iteration looks to be in good shape.  We’ll be updating you with new info as it becomes available.  For now, enjoy the hi-res images by clicking on the thumbnails.
