Street Fighter IV DLC Announced
Makeover!!!!

If there’s one thing that goes with brutal hand-to-hand combat between highly trained specialists from around the globe, it’s fashion! Sure, smashing your friend’s face in with a flaming Shoryuken is nice, but if you do it without looking stylish, what’s the point? That’s why the Japanese Xbox 360 version of Street Fighter IV will be getting five weekly downloadable costume packs starting on the game’s Japanese launch date of February 12.
Each pack will contain alternate costumes for five characters and will cost ¥400 or 320 Microsoft Points. Over five weeks, this will give all 25 characters a fresh wardrobe change, and run you a total of ¥2000 or 1600 Microsoft Points. Of course, the patient shoppers out there will benefit from waiting for the “Combo pack” that Capcom is planning, which will include all the costumes for the clearance-sale price of ¥1200 or 1,000 Microsoft Points.
There’s also a free download on the way in the form of Championship Mode, which will offer tournament-style play over Xbox Live.
Please note that all of these packages have only been announced for then Japanese version of the game. We fully expect to hear a similar announcement for the American and European versions soon. Hopefully, these will also include a montage mode where we can watch Zangief try on hats while Putting On the Ritz plays in the background.

i just cannot get into costume packs. I mean as cool as the LBP costumes have been, i can never justify paying the money for them. Good though to already see DLC being planned for the title though.
