About a week and a half ago, Ubisoft officially announced their upcoming Wii fighter based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. But that’s about all they announced. No details, no expected release date, no playable characters, not even an official title for the game. Alright, to be fair, they did tell us that it would be developed by the good folks who worked on Super Smash Bros. Brawl and some members of Team Ninja, which is awesome, but that’s just not enough. C’mon, Ubi, people are naturally gonna be excited about a TMNT game, and you can’t leave everyone hanging with nothing more than “Yep, there’s gonna be a game!”

Luckily, we didn’t have to wait long, as a new trailer for the now officially titled Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Smash-Up. The trailer shows no actual gameplay footage, but does give us a look at five of the playable characters (the four titular turtles and Splinter) as well as some lovely cg combat. Take a look.
