UPDATED* UK Pre-Orders Get Fight Night Round 4 Demo Early
But Earlier Than What?

UPDATE* - After checking with employees at several GameStop locations, we can confirm that GameStop is also offering the demo early for pre-order customers. This is also verified on their website. No one at any of the stores I spoke to had a date for the demo, and on the website, it is listed only as "2 weeks prior to the demo’s general release in early summer 2009," but with British gamers gaining access tomorrow, I fully expect an email tomorrow with a demo code. It would have been nice if GameStop had made this a little more well-known, or if they were able to nail down a date more than a day before it happened, but what can you do.
We’re not sure if this is the case here in the States, but in the UK, the release date of the Fight Night Round 4 demo is dependent on pre-ordering the game. Gamers who pre-order from UK retailer, GameStation, will get to play the demo on May 14; those who don’t will have to wait an indeterminate amount of time before they can get their hands on what looks to be the most realistic boxing game ever.
This is the first specific date we’ve heard for the demo, with EA previously only saying “Mid-May,” so we’re hoping that us Yanks will get our hands on it on the 14th, as well. Of course, if the Brits need a few extra days with the game, we understand fully; I saw what happened in that Ricky Hatton fight, and you guys might need the extra practice.

Limey bastards. Don't get me wrong - I'm willing to wait. But I hate the idea that Nigel Whippethorpestone III will get this before me.
Give me my pugilism simulator you wankers!
