Unreal Tournament 3 shipped with over forty maps, and with the thriving online community, more are being made every day.  That’s not stopping Epic from releasing three new maps for the multiplayer FPS, though.  Two of the maps, Morbias and Facing Worlds, are remakes of some of the more beloved older maps from the series.  The other, Searchlight, is a new map custom made for Capture The Flag matches.  All three are downloadable in one convenient, 160 Mb file for the PC or PS3, and, best of all, they’re 100% free!  Gotta love that kind of DLC model (I’m talking to you, Battlefield: Bad Company.)

The download is available today along with a patch for the game (because patches are all the rage, apparently) that allows European gamers to compete aganst Americans, and improves support for modders.  The price is right and the nostalgia found in the retro maps are well worth the minimal effort required to obtain them.
