Video: First-Look at Resident Evil 5 Demo
And Instructions on How To Get Your Own
In America, we call it Resident Evil, but in Japan, it’s known as “Biohazard.” To be specific, it’s called “Biohazard 5”, and its demo arrived in Japan way sooner than it will here in the states. With a little initiative and disinformation, however, you too can get your hands on the demo for what’s sure to be the biggest and best zombie shooter/racism trainer of the year. All you have to do is set up a new Hotmail account with Japan as your home country, link it to a new Xbox Live account with a one month gold trial, scroll through pages and pages of unreadable Japanese text…you know what? Why don’t you just watch the footage we captured from our semi-ill-gotten demo, then check out the full directions here if you think it’s worth it.
Okay, so it’s definitely worth it. As expected, the game looks fantastic, and plays just about perfectly. If you played RE4, you already know how to control the game, and other than a new inventory system, some very cool new hand-to-hand moves, and a new healing spray, the biggest difference between 5 and 4 seems to be the much-talked-about locale and the evil residents thereof. So hurry up; go pretend you’re Japanese and download the demo already.

There's an easier way to go about it if you want it badly enough. Head over here: http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=fdf4f1773666296791b20cc0d07ba4d2e66f2dcbbe596359
Then, extract all files and you should have a single folder "content." Burn that to a CD/DVD and put it into the 360. Go to My Xbox-Demos and it should be the last one on the list. Hope that works for everyone!
looking good
ok so I downloaded all 5 parts and they are on my desktop. How do I extract them and make the "content" folder?
Sick demo! Just sick! I must obtain it NOW!
@Jozzy: Use a program called 7zip (free) or WinRAR. Just right-click on one of the parts, and extract them wherever.
7zip is a good program. Easy to use. I just couldn't seem to get it extracted. It kept asking for a password.
