Remember that movie, Reign of Fire?  Remember how awesome the concept was; dragons vs the modern military?  Remember how cool the trailer was, with all its quick cuts and fire-breathing action?  Now, remember how much the movie actually sucked?  I don’t want to say that this trailer for Batman: Arkham Asylum is definitely going to share the same fate, but looking at the history of superheroes in general, it seems pretty likely.  Take a look.

Sure, the trailer looks awesome, and the concept is even better; Bioshock meets Batman.  But the quick cuts make me raise an eyebrow at what they're hiding.Great trailers do not necessarily make great games, however, and while I and everyone else in the GV offices are hoping for the best for the 2009 release, optimism is hard to come by.  Why?  Just ask Iron Man.  And the Hulk.  And Superman.  And any previous Batman game.  The list goes on and on.
