Voltron Game Roars Onto iPhones
From Days of Long Ago, From Uncharted Regions of the Universe

It took them 11 months, but they finally listened; they’re making a Voltron game! I called for publishers to get moving on a game based on the team of combining robotic lions early in the year, and today, Sony has finally released a Voltron game.
For cell phones.
Yes, the most gigantic of 1980’s cartoon heroes is being relegated to the smallest, least capable gaming system, the cell phone. Voltron is available now for $3.99 on the iPhone, with other phones receiving a port soon. The game features 30 levels over 6 chapters, 3D lion segments and 2D Voltron vs. Robeast fights, and audio and video directly from the show.
It’s definitely not the big-budget console game I’ve been hoping for since 1986, but after playing the iPhone game for a bit, I can safely say it’s not terrible. The controls are a bit stiff, but there’s enough Voltron fan-service to keep 30-35 year olds happy, and the gameplay is serviceable. Maybe if the game sells well, we’ll actually get a Voltron game for home systems, and I can FINALLY form Blazing Sword, like a damn grown-up.

only other game I remember seeing Golion(Voltron) is in Super Robot Wars W on the DS.
Nice. I mean, iPhone is just the beginning. By 2012 we'll be buying Halo 5 for our Voltron 450s.
