About yesterday's rumors of Walmart offering a ridiculously good deal on the Xbox 360 Arcade; turns out it's true.  Walmart's website confirmed that on Saturday, November 7  for one day only, $199 will get you an Arcade system along with a $100 gift certificate.

The other deals we listed are true as well, so anyone looking for a Blu-Ray player or a 46" LCD TV would do well to get themselves to a Walmart this weekend. 

With the economy in the sad shape that it's in, and the ever-growing reach of online shopping, it looks like Walmart is attempting to change the way retailers handle the holiday season.  Spreading the holiday sales events over several weekends instead of throwing everything at Black Friday might entice more customers out to stores more often, resulting in more purchases.
