We can’t yet confirm it as real, but if it turns out to be, it’s one of the best deals in gaming EVER.  A Kotaku member and assumed Walmart employee sent in an image taken from a Walmart computer that shows the details of this weekend's sales event.  The sale includes some really good deals on LCD TVs as well as a Blu-Ray player for only $150, but by far the most interesting item is an Xbox 360 Arcade system, along with a $100 gift certificate for only $200.

If this turns out to be real, and it does look pretty real, this is the cheapest anyone’s ever seen an Xbox 360.  With the whole country just starting to think about holiday shopping, it’s also the kind of deal that may result in tramplings, so show up early and wear a helmet.

One would imagine that the retail giant would be smart enough to limit customers to one system per person; otherwise, resellers will buy one, use the GC on another, and daisy chain these things until they’re all gone.  Regardless, assuming this is real, I can totally see myself picking up a spare 360 for if when my current box red-rings, and spending the gift certificate on dog food, laundry detergent, and Airsoft rifles. (ya gotta love Walmart).
