What are You Playing this Week? - 07.12.10
I Thought "Game" Indicated "Fun"

With only one review to work on and only one major release tomorrow, my gaming week is looking pretty open. This is a good thing; it will give me plenty of time to catch up on…oh God, what AM I going to do this week?!?!
The only game on my review list right now is N3: Ninety-Nine Nights 2, and that’s a damn shame. Microsoft’s hack-and-slash sequel is, so far, downright terrible. Pressing “X” and walking forward for 8 hours might be someone’s idea of fun, but I ain’t the one. The fact that the game has some ridiculously cheap enemies and a straight-up broken checkpoint system isn’t helping matters, either, and to be honest, I’m dreading the next time I have to play it. Be sure to look for that “glowing” review in the near future.
NCAA Football 11 comes out tomorrow, so I’ll be picking that up, and hopefully logging plenty of hours on the college gridiron. After a few playthroughs of the demo, I’m confident that this will be the best college football game that EA has produced so far. The new animations and locomotion system look gorgeous in action, and really help the game feel more authentic, and after playing Backbreaker for a few weeks, it’ll be nice to wash the taste of that game out of my mouth.
Well, that leaves me with about 20 hours of gaming that has yet to be spoken for. I can only fill so many of those hours with Marvel Vs. Capcom 2 (major resurgence since the announcement about its sequel), Super Street Fighter IV, Joe Danger, and Skate 3, so what else will I do this week? Yard work? Doubtful. Cleaning up around the house? Highly unlikely. Spending quality time with family and friends? I don’t see it happening. Maybe I’ll break down and finally buy Dragon Age: Awakenings, and lose myself in the land of Ferelden again. Or maybe I’ll spend the week thinking of horrible, horrible things that would still be better than playing more N3 2. For example; eating a big bag of onions, or attending a Black Eyed Peas concert.
So what are you playing this week?

Joe Danger, Angry Birds and Words with Friends. Also, Angry Birds has the addictive properties of crack cocaine.
All about Monkey Island 2 right now. I'll probably hop back into Joe Danger now that more of my friends have gotten it.
WORDS WITH FRIENDS ANGRY BIRDS AND A LOT OF DRAGON QUEST.
Transformers WFC and Crackdown 2
Same as Selly!
