Xbox Live Starter Pack Is Pretty Cheap, Pretty Awesome
Time To Get On Board With That Whole Internet Thing

With the New Xbox Experience fast approaching, Microsoft is looking to get as many of their gamers as possible online and ready for the update. This unclaimed offline market generally consists of people who bought an Xbox 360 Arcade (or Core) and never bothered to buy themselves a hard drive, but there’s certainly a small contingent who has resisted joining Xbox Live until the right price point came along. For those people, you might want to jump on Microsoft’s latest online incentive bargain, because it’s a good one.
Microsoft will be selling an Xbox Live Starter Pack, which includes an Xbox 360 headset, an Ethernet cable, 3 months of Xbox Live Gold service and a 60GB hard drive, all for only $99.99. Considering that a new 360 with a 60GB costs $100 more than one with no storage space, this deal is like getting a headset, a cable and 3 months of membership for free. And we like free. The deal starts on November 4, giving you plenty of time to get used to the existing interface before it goes away completely.
